I designed this lesson around the board game CLUE,  the reaction to this lesson has always been amazing, I hope your students enjoy it as much as mine did.

Be sure to download part two which contains printouts which you can put on the board.

Use this and have studnets write down their answer to each question. T You and your JET can run around and stamp over their answer after they have confirmed it is their final answer. Also, they can use life lines, but only after everyone has been stamped.

As seen at 2009 JET Orientation...you can play Hollywood Squares with your classes. 1) Choose 9 students and assign them numbers and have them come sit in front of the class. 2) Choose 2 students to be players. Have them junken. Winner goes first and chooses 'x' or 'O'. Then they choose a number 1-9. 3) Ask the student with the square's number the question. 4) After the student answers the question the player has to agree or disagree. If they agree and the person was correct or if they disagree and the person was incorrect they get the square. 5) Keep playing until someone gets a bingo or all the square have been taken by an x or o. Round 2 All students play in partners. 1) Choose 9 students and assign them numbers 1-9. This time they stay in their seats so they too can play along. 2) Pass out hand out (see other download entitled hollywood squares handout). 3) Parnters junken. Winners choose if they are x or o and get to go first. 4) Choose any square to start. Ask the corresponding studnet the question. Then ask the junken winners if they agree or disagree. 5) Tell them to tell their partners. Then tell them the answer. If they agreed and the person in the square was right they get the square or if they adisagreed and the person was wrong they also get the square. 6)Have students write down an x or an o on each square on the worksheet. 5) Keep playing and 3) Start with square one. Ask student
